Oh My, I am in love with all the goodies here on your blog Amy. I have to go run back and look at those beautiful totes.

How cute would a pillow be with that awesome postcard on it. Make two 'cause if I don't win, I want one!

xoxo

Hi Amy,
I pulled my head out of my workroom long enough to stop by and see all of your sweet totes! I love my pincushion, to date it sits on my shelf at my desk.. I love it there, I can look at it any time I want to then.
If I would really use it as a pincushion, it would be stuffed into my sewing box. I simply don't have the heart to tuck it away, it's too pretty to hide!
Have a great day~

I couldn't believe it was October when I got in my car this afternoon and the temperature gauge said 92! Is it really Fall?

A little about my textile art.....

My vintage fabric collages combine my love of vintage textiles and my love of words. Words are powerful and a beautiful phrase can evoke such emotion. My collage designs are built around the wise words of an old poet or author, which I handstitch in a simple lettering. I use vintage fabrics, laces, buttons, etc...all handstitched in a unique way to mirror the words - there is always a little mystery with the finished product, but if you look closely you will see the simple beauty of the words reflected in the design. I collect old vintage frames throughout the year to frame each collage in. Below is a sampling of some of my pieces....
